A little LOVE and CARE we show can give HAPPINESS to these kids.

                 Crowdfunding Awareness Campaign Love, Care and Happiness charity in Tawau, Sabah is an educational and fund-raising public  awareness and educating the community to help special children in Tawau.

                This program will introduce the knowledge about the importance of helping special kids by donating a certain amount of funds to buy raw materials for their daily used utilities and necessities. These programe collaborated with the Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sri Stella Tawau, Sabah.

About Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sri Stella

Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sri Stella, is a care and education center for children with disabilities. Its was located at Tawau Sabah, this care center  has 23 special children. We have been told that 19 special children were daily visiting this school and 4 of them were staying inside  with the guardians. Thus, the age range among these special children was from age of five until the age of 16. Mostly the childeren that they taking care is children that have Spastic Children (Cerebral Palsy) means children that having brain disability. This care center not only taking care these children but they also provide a physiotherapy, learning activity and recreational activities. These activity was conduct to help keep them active and improve their overall wellbeing. 

Our Project 

This program will introduce the knowledge about the importance of helping special kids by donating a certain amount of funds to buy raw materials for their daily used utilities and necessities. Such as book ,toys also color in order to fullfill their class activity. As we know children with autism curtail themselves from communicating and interacting. This doesn’t mean they don’t want to learn. It’s just they don’t want to engage themselves with others so often for it. They also want to be play like the other kids at their age but due to their disability they need to be guide to play. With the toys and ulities activity tools will encourage them to learn and build up their skill on adaptation and also their health. With these program we hope that this children can be happy and will not feel unwanted and different from normal kids. 

Objective 

1) Raising funds to reach the target fund for necessities and utilities.
2) Able to enhance the awareness within the community regarding the crowdfunding platform.
3)Able to cooperate with outside organizations enables us to deal with outside people for networking purposes.

Fund Allocation

 The approximate costs for this campaign are as follows

Based on the budget shown, the estimated cost required by our group is RM1500. When the estimated cost stated above is in excess of the required amount, then we plan to use the surplus money to add units of necessary items such as pampers or other necessities. And conversely, when the total collection of contributions is less than the estimated cost required, then we will reduce the cost of our expenses by reducing the quantity of goods.

Organization Chart

1. Due to COVID 19 pandemic, the team are unable to go to visit Taman Didikan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Sri Stella. Out of 5 people, only two people are able to visit the organizations.

2. This project's challenges include the difficulty of collecting a large amount of money in a short period of time. 

3. The possibility that we will be unable to raise the proposed target amount of RM1,500.00, will cause our team to reduce the amount of essentials that we want to give to the children.

This project is an assignment of the students in University Malaysia Sabah, Labuan Faculty of International Finance, and may not be suitable for everyone.
